Trustees

Objects:

The Trustees shall use the whole or any part of the income of the Trust Fund for the following charitable purposes set down below and for all other acts incidental to and /or ancillary with the objects as the Trustees may in their discretion deem fit in accordance with the provisions of this Deed. 

4.1 To spread the life and teachings of SHRI SHIRDI SAI BABA and to promote the cause of a healthy, peaceful, spiritual value -based life of lofty ideals & moral values and to enhance the inner divinity & spiritual energies of humankind.

  • To promote, establish, run Ashrams and centers, for promoting a spiritual holistic life. and
  • To give relief to the poor and the distressed widows and orphans.
  • To awaken the consciousness, sympathy, concern for the upkeep and conservation of pollution free and green environment and the local fauna.

4.4 To establish and promote alternative medicine therapies namely ayurveda, homoeopathy, yoga, naturopathy, acupuncture, and other traditional healing therapies.

4.5 To establish, set up on line learning / e-learning systems, virtual education, IT enabled programs at national level to promote spiritual values.

4.6 To open, found, support institutions promoting art, music, culture and fostering spiritual values.

4.7 To subscribe to such other charitable objects as the Trustees may deem proper and to make donations, subscriptions or contributions to them.

4.8 To open, found, build, equip, and grant aids to homes, hospitals or any charitable institutions of the like nature.

4.9 To develop and build a Trust estate or Trust Property to fulfilled the above mentioned objectives and to provide, all possible and practical facilities and amenities for worship, meditation, lectures, Yoga, libraries, including residential accommodation facilities for local and foreign visitors.

4.10 For any other purposes  beneficial to the public in general and / or ancillary to or in furtherance  of the above objectives.

The trustees are: Mr Giandeo Reemul, Mr Alan Ganoo,Mr Arjoon Putlajee and Mr Dowlutrao Gangaram.

To enable the smooth running of the Trust activities, the Trustees are allowed to appoint an Executive Committee.

The appointed Executive Committees members are Mr. Vinoba Gunnoo,Mr Dharamdev Nathoo. Mr Neelchandra Bhivajee, Mr Temenrao Ganoo,Mrs Navina Prayag Chinnaya

TRUSTEES

Alan Ganoo

Hon. Alan Ganoo is a  lawyer by profession, called to the bar in the late 1970’sand above all a seasoned political leader with a distinguished career spanning several decades. He has held key ministerial portfolios including Justice and Attorney-General, Housing and Land, Public Utilities, Fisheries, Foreign Affairs and most recently Land Transport and Light Rail, where he spearheaded major national infrastructure projects. His parliamentary journey has been equally rich, having served as Speaker of the National Assembly, Opposition Whip, Deputy Chief Whip, and Leader of the Opposition. He has also chaired and contributed to important parliamentary committees such as the Public Accounts Committee, the Committee of Selection, and the Standing Orders Committee. Known for his leadership and legal expertise, he has consistently worked to modernize governance and improve the lives of citizens. Beyond politics, he has been an ardent supporter of socio-cultural and community-based initiatives, promoting values of justice, fairness, and unity. He has also actively supported spiritual and cultural activities across the nation. A staunch devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba, Alan Ganoo blends public service with deep spiritual conviction, earning him respect across political and social spheres.

Rajiv Reemul

Mr. Giandeo Reemul is the CEO of Trustlink International limited, a management company specialized in trust and company formation and administration. He has extensive experience in the financial industry and worked in law firms and asset management companies in London, Switzerland and India. He was also a regulator for the Authority regulating the offshore business in Mauritius. He is presently a visiting lecturer in financial laws in Singapore and Hong Kong . He graduated with a master in laws and an MBA from London.

Arjoon Putlajee O.S.K

Arjoon Putlajee O.S.K, a versatile media professional and cultural leader, has been serving as Chief Producer at the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation since 1997, overseeing the Marathi Department and national live broadcasts.

Fluent in Creole, French, English, Marathi, and Hindi, he has directed and produced acclaimed stage and television projects while promoting Indian cultural and spiritual heritage in Mauritius.

As President of Maratha Mandir Association, Henrietta, he has led numerous socio-cultural and devotional initiatives, including landmark events such as the Dnyaneshwari Katha.

An accomplished actor, singer, and cultural ambassador, he has represented Mauritius internationally through bhajans, dramas, and cultural delegations to India, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond.

Dowlutrao Gangaram

Dowlutrao Gangaram is a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 48 years of distinguished experience across mechanical, electrical, civil, marine, and energy engineering disciplines. He holds a BSc in Marine and Mechanical Engineering (University of Surrey, UK), an MSc in Civil Engineering – Transport Management & Planning (University of New Brunswick, Canada), and a Diploma in Diesel Engineering Technology (Czechoslovakia). He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK) and a Life Member of ASHRAE (USA). As founder and principal of leading engineering contracting and consultancy firms, he has delivered major mechanical and electrical installations and led some of the most technically intricate mechanical and plumbing engineering designs. His career reflects strong leadership, innovation, and uncompromising engineering integrity. A committed advocate of renewable and sustainable energy, he has remained closely aligned with global technological advancements in the field. He is also widely respected for mentoring engineers and promoting ethical professional practice. For over 25 years, he has pursued a profound spiritual path under his Gurudev within the Datta Sampradaya, embodying a rare synthesis of technical excellence and inner discipline.

Executive Committees Members

Ms Navina Chinnaya

Navina Prayag Chinnayya is a legal professional, holding an LLB from the University of Wolverhampton and an LLM from the University of Wales. With over 16 years of extensive experience, she specializes in service contract management within various industries, including construction and building, media and entertainment, and advertising. Her work spans multiple regions such as the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, the UK, and the USA.

In addition to her legal expertise, Navina has played a vital role in establishing start-ups and provides strategic HR and industrial relations advice to a network of entrepreneurs. Her leadership extends to her position as the secretary of the Mauritius Alliance of Women and her past presidency of the Lions Club Curepipe, where she has contributed to numerous community service initiatives. These projects focus on significant social issues, including corneal transplants, hunger alleviation, environmental protection, and diabetes prevention and screening, showcasing her commitment to making a positive impact in her community.

Mr Neelchadra Bhivajee

Neelchandra Bhivajee served as Business Development Manager at the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), contributing to trade facilitation, private sector development, and institutional support initiatives. Held the position of Marketing and Business Development Manager at Enterprise Mauritius, supporting export promotion, SME growth, and international market access. Worked as Head of Business Development and Project Manager with private consulting and service-oriented organisations, delivering assignments in strategic planning, quality assurance, and business process improvement. Acted as a Senior Consultant on multidisciplinary projects involving government bodies, financial institutions, insurers, and commercial enterprises in Mauritius and the East African region. Recognized for strong stakeholder engagement, structured project delivery, and results-driven advisory support.

Dharamdev Nathoo

Dharamdev Nathoo is a senior Civil Engineer with an extensive career in the Mauritius Civil Service, specializing in traffic management and road safety. He served with the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Land Transport, holding progressively senior roles within the Traffic Management and Road Safety Unit. His appointments culminated in Director (Civil Engineering), where he provided national leadership on road safety policy and implementation. He played a key role in drafting major road traffic legislation, including the Penalty Points System and the Highway Code. He led the introduction of modern traffic signal systems, speed cameras, and nationwide road signage programs. His career is distinguished by strong technical leadership, inter-agency coordination, and effective management of large teams and public-sector budgets.

Vinoba Gunnoo

Vinoba Gunnoo is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant, a Licensed Auditor with the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), and a Public Practitioner with the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA). With more than three decades of experience across Mauritius and Africa, he has provided strategic advice to leading organisations in various sectors. He is currently the CEO and Managing Partner of TGS Mauritius Group. Beyond his professional career, Vinoba is also a devoted follower of Shirdi Sai Baba, drawing inspiration from his teachings in both life and leadership.

Temenrao Gessoo Ganoo

Temenrao Gennoo Ganoo is a senior Chemical Engineer and management professional with over 35 years of combined industry, consultancy, and academic experience. He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering, an MBA, and is a Certified Quality Manager (ASQ), with strong expertise in quality, operations, productivity, and change management. He has served as Operations Manager and Head of Business Unit in major manufacturing firms, successfully leading turnaround, ISO certification, productivity gains, and large-scale operations. A long-standing lecturer and trainer, he has taught at leading Mauritian universities and the Civil Service College, training senior civil servants and executives. He is the author of a 254-page Quality and Productivity Management manual and a frequent paper presenter at national and international forums. His career is marked by measurable performance excellence, leadership, and impactful capacity building in both industry and public service.
